Harley Quinn Fan Art

Harley Quinn is a complex fictional character, representing a neurotic woman with various psychological dimensions, stemming from her troubled childhood.

Her descent into madness is attributed to her love with the Joker.

Their relationship is a textbook phenomenon known as shared psychosis, where both characters exhibit psychotic symptoms that intensify over time.

Harley Quinn is quite unstable, if not more so, than the Joker, as they mutually amplify each other’s psychotic tendencies.

Additionally, Harley Quinn was born from a fractured family background, (while the Joker is portrayed as a plain psychopath).

Harley Quinn Archetype

As you may have noticed I usually return back to 4 main characters in my Fan Arts

  1. Harley Quinn
  2. Lady Death
  3. Raven
  4. Jinx

It feels like I need to explain a bit why

Let’s start with Harley Quinn – what does she represents, who is she, why Harley Quinn exists?

Harley Quinn is a fictional character with a lot of layers. She is a psychological stereotype of a neurotic woman from a broken home who goes insane after falling in love with the Joker.

Harley Quinn and the Joker’s relationship is an example of shared psychosis.

Joker is the dominant character at first and later Harley Quinn becomes equally crazy as Joker (if not crazier) the end result is that they mutually trigger psychotic symptoms in each other.

Harley Quinn is from a broken family, and the Joker is a psychopath.

Good day to you, dear reader

“You think I’m just a doll. A doll that’s pink and light.
A doll you can arrange any way you like. You’re wrong. Very wrong.
What you think of me is only a ghost of time.
I am dangerous. And I will show you just how dark I can be.”
